How to list an item on Arbong
Listing your pre-loved or new desi clothing and décor on Arbong is fast, free, and easy. Follow the steps below to create an eye-catching listing that helps you sell quickly.
1. Start Your Listing
- Log in to your Arbong account.
- In the top menu bar, click Sell Now (or Add New Listing).
2. Upload Photos
Requirement: Minimum 1 clear, well-lit images.
Tips:
- Show the item from multiple angles.
- Include close-ups of details, labels, embellishments, or any flaws.
- Use a clean, uncluttered background.
You and up to 10 images per listing.
3. Enter Basic Details
- Listing Title: Craft a concise, descriptive title (e.g., “Red Banarasi Silk Saree, M”).
- Category: Select the appropriate category (Clothing, Accessories, Décor, etc.).
- Subcategory: Choose the more specific type (e.g., Saree, Lehenga, Cushion).
- Price (EUR): Set your asking price in euros.
- Item Condition: Pick from options like New, Like New, Gently Used, or Pre-loved.
4. Add Descriptive Attributes
Depending on the category you chose, additional fields will appear to help buyers filter and find your listing:
- Designer / Brand
- Color
- Size / Dimensions
- Material / Fabric
- Occasion (e.g. Bridal, Casual, Festival)
- Features (e.g. Handmade, Vintage, Price Negotiable, Return/Exchange Accepted)
These attributes make your listing stand out and improve search visibility.
5. Write Your Description
- Be honest and detailed: Mention measurements, fit, fabric care, and any signs of wear.
- Highlight selling points: Unique embroidery, special embellishments, or why this piece is special.
- Include keywords: Use terms buyers might search for (e.g. “Eid outfit,” “wedding decor,” “handwoven cotton”).
6. Select Delivery Method
- In-Person Pickup: Agree on a mutually convenient location with the buyer.
- Domestic Shipping: Arrange shipping; upload tracking once sent. If you select this option, you must specify the shipping cost you will charge per item.
- Free domestoc shipping: Select this option if you want to offer Free domestic shipping to your customers.
You can offer one or both options—buyers will choose what works best for them.
7. Add Location
Sellers and buyers arrange in-person pickup or shipping with tracking, per their mutual agreement. You can offer flat-rate, calculated-rate, or local pickup options.
8. Review & Publish
- Double-check all fields, photos, and your description.
- Click Publish.
- Your listing goes live instantly!
9. After Publishing
- Manage Your Listing: In My Listings, you can edit details, bump your ad by re-publishing, or remove it when sold.
- Messages: Respond promptly to buyer inquiries via Arbong’s in-app inbox.
- Shipping: If the buyer chooses shipping, send the tracking number via message for transparency.
